Plot Summary: Faced with the knowledge that an asteroid is set to collide with the Earth, a group of oil drillers, led by Harry Stamper (Willis), are given the task of going in to space to try to stop the asteroid, and save the world.

Michael Duncan, who plays Bear, can currently be seen in Tom Hanks' new prison drama, The Green Mile.
I have noticed a pattern lately...if a movie is good, then Steve Buscemi is in it. He has appeared in Con Air, Big Daddy, The Wedding Singer, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, and Fargo.
If you liked this movie I recommend...
Deep Impact - although Armageddon is a superior film, Deep Impact was also very good. The same general premise exists here - giant object set to collide with the earth. However, with Deep Impact, there is a broader focus. The heroes in space are not the only characters who are shown, but instead we also get to see the reactions of people on ground.

Why you'll love him: A.J. is great boyfriend to Grace. The scene in which he is preparing to board the shuttle is extremely sweet and romantic. His relationship with Harry is also very touching.
