Plot Summary: Titanic is the tragic love story of Rose and Jack (Winslet and DiCaprio). Two young lovers who meet while riding on the Titanic. Rose is a rich young lady, who is engaged to be married as soon as she gets off the ship. Jack is a penniless artist. As different as the two may be, they quickly fall in love. Together, they share countless experiences, and ultimately fight for their lives as the great ship goes down.

Romeo + Juliet - another tragic romance starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Both movies share one thing in common: even though you know what the ending will ultimately be, you can't hope that everything works out for the tormented lovers.
That Character Looks Familiar...
John Jacob Astor, one of the wealthy Titanic passengers, may have looked familiar to soap enthusiasts. He was played by none other than Eric Braeden. Although he has appeared in numerous movies and television shows, most of us will always know him from his role as Victor Newman on The Young and the Restless.

Why you'll love him: Admittedly, I'm not a Leo fan. However, his portrayal of Jack is really great. As Jack, Leonardo is funny, sensitive and sexy all at once. I must admit that I couldn't help but fall in love with the soulful artist myself.
